Question for incubator builders

Has anyone ever used the heating elements from a hot water tank? My Natureform incubator has elements similar to those so I was just curious. If os how did they work and did they keeo a good consitant heat?...Thanks.

I think I read on here a while ago that some one on here used one but I'm not sure how they did it. Sorry, I hope someone will help you.
