I havent owned chickens in a long time but I grew up with about 20+ chickens for many years.
But theres a phenominom that I cant find anywhere online that my chickens did and I wanted to know why they do it if possible.
Its very simple , If I took a tall long stick like broom or rake and pointed it straight up in the air. Itd make every chicken run into their coops.
It didnt matter how far or close I was, as long as one chicken had line of sight, itd make a noise and theyd all run into the coops.
The only thing I could think of is they think its a large raptor like bird, but from a stick? It works on any shape of stick as long as its long.
