I don't actually know how long a 500-page book would be, but I bet not. Reading is not fun for me. My eyes and wandering mind make reading difficult and very slow.

No, I’m a very slow reader and I have to make sure I understand every word before I move to the next sentence.
Besides, I really like to read a book over a period of several days to extend my excitement and expectations.
