I live in SD, it's a great state. I've been to a lot and it's still my favorite.

I'm a captive. But yes it's much nicer when winter finally decides to leave.

I grew up there. It was beautiful. I miss the mountains, lakes and streams. I do not miss the crowds, developments and congestion. I won't go back.

I only went on destination vacations when I was stuck in a city. Now that I live in a home I love, the idea of having to travel off my property for vacations seems wasteful and unpleasant.

My favorite vacation destination is anywhere the road takes me, 'specially if there's a battlefield, cemetery, or museum at the end. Or the ocean!
