Question of the Day - Monday, October 21st, 2024

I wasn't allowed to fight-fight them and I can't remember who usually won the arguments. I know they successfully convinced my parents that I was the one who'd set their bedroom carpet on fire. My parent's brilliant reasoning at the time: "They wouldn't all lie about the same thing."
Yes! Yes they would! If it foisted blame off themselves and onto me, you'd better believe they'd be in cahoots!

I'm still bitter about that one.

I was the middle problem child. 2 year older brother who always outweighed me about 100lbs, and he wasn’t fat, just big. He always won, but I had my moments and I never backed down. It could get ugly.
Younger brother was 7 1/2 years younger, so I have cleaned his butt for him, but never whipped it, though, he deserved it, always snitching on me. But, I had my ways of getting even with him mainly making him do things with him thinking I would fire him up if he didn’t do what I said. I put him between his bed and the wall one time and made him stay there all day until my parents came home. I got in real trouble for that one. He deserved to be there for a week, though. I did teach him how to fight, though.
I guess the best I got my older brother was when we were about to get into it and he was in the floor and I kicked him in the head before he could get up coming for me. That was a dental trip for him. I got in bad trouble for that one as well.
Yeah, good times.
And I always wanted a brother? Perhaps I lucked out with the evil sister?

My son only has a sister, and he probably wouldn't think you were lucky lol

My brothers and I were still actually very close. And, it was one of those things that even though we fought against each other at times, we would fight together in an instant if an outsider got wrong with one of us.
