I was born with abundant optimism.

As the world is changing so rapidly and not positively from my experience so I am leaning more to the pessimism nature.

I grew up without checking my receipt at check out, but these days they constantly charging me more than what on the price tag so I am constantly checking my receipt and counting the change they give back to me.

Depends on what we're talking about

People: a pessimist, I don't think anyone is truly good, nobody is looking out for me.

Myself: delusionally optimistic, I think I can do anything. Of course sometimes I struggle with being too realistic and not striving for anything if I think it's even a little difficult, but in general I'm far too aspirational.

Fate: just a realist, it is what it is. Everything is vanity.

Pessimist, but not obnoxiously so. Like many others in this thread, I'm optimistic about things going wrong.
