We used to ice skate and roller skate as kids. I have never gone skateboarding.
I broke my wrist a few years back
I broke mine about 9 years ago. I still get a gut clench reaction when I feel myself losing my footing. I think my skating and skiing days are over, and I'm fine with that. :)

Me too. I haven't had the same confidence since. I stick with weight training and walking for my fitness now, but I do miss the balance and coordination challenge of skating - something I think is important to maintain.

Something I found interesting is how many older people in Japan have superb mobility and balance. I attribute that to the floor seating still present in many areas. Use it or lose it, I suppose.
