I haven't been on a roof in about 30 years, and I intend to keep adding to that streak. If I'm not on a roof, I can't fall off, right?

Its really nice on the roof though...

Actually, yes. But I did not hit the ground. My friend Deb and I were doing some construction work, I don't remember what now, and off I went, but she grabbed me and lowered me to the porch. I did have to go to the chiropractor for an adjustment though.

Fortunately, never, and this is years of framing houses and sheathing roofs. Jumped a few times into soft sand from a ranch type house though.

No - because anything that involves getting on the roof is always someone elses job - I have a fear of heights.
Hubby had to run round to the ladder, get down fast and assist son who was hanging by his fingers from the edge of the roof down, once.
They had just finished putting said roofing sheets on the Granny Flat.

We were doing cartwheels on a roof when I goofed and fell.
My mom was furious with me because I couldn't remember what happened. I went to the last day of school the next day with a brace on my wrist. It took me a while to remember why I hurt so bad.
