Do you ever anthropomorphise inanimate objects?

I'm a writer, so I have to. I looked up the meaning of that word (because I've never heard it before) and sounds like personification, which I try to do a lot in my writing.

The wall stared down at him like it would crush him with just one step, guarding the green hills of freedom that he so desperately wanted to see.

But besides that, not really. Like I don't really refer to my car as a she, nor would I say it sounded angry or anything like that. Being Autistic, my mind tends to keep anything outside of my imagination simple.

I don’t intentionally, but I do often see a single object that has become separated from a group and am convinced that it is lonely.

For example, if I see a single piece of onion left over on the plate, I’ll eat it simply because it will be lonely without the other onion pieces.

I am downright embarrassed to admit this!
