Ok I have incubated babies before, but this is the first for me..chick just only 8 hours old if that, when it hatched there was a clear jelly looking substance in bottom of egg, I can't remove egg because I have other babies popping

and didn't want to risk them in anyway..so went to check on the hatched baby and it's foot is stuck in the gooey jelly looking substance. My question is should I get the baby out and remove that part of the shell, or let it come off itself, or what do I do?
Incubation is so stressful for me, bc if the slightest thing that looks to go wrong or they like they are struggling it gets to me. But I love my roosters and hens and chicks!!

Ok so this pic was taken earlier when it hatched! That jelly stuff was in the smaller part of the egg, I do notice the umbilical cord but I don't think that was anything to do with it..

How's your chick doing?

Looks like material from hatching, usually all that kind of stuff will be knocked off once the chick starts kicking and moving about.
I'm just seeing your messege and Thank you for asking my baby did just fine! He's actually is going on 4 months old and just the sweetest rooster!! I call him Baby! This Baby now!
