Just a quick question about whether I should have a heat lamp in the brooder for the one chick that is hatching or is it going to be fine with out it..The weather here has been between the low 70s and high 90s lately

Do you mean the brooder?
I would still give it one if it's warm enough the chick will just move away from the lamp.
Congratulations on your new baby

Its better if you can put the lamp on ONE side of the brooder. that way if the chicks gets to hot, then he will move to the side with out the heat lamp. If he gets to cold he knows to move under the light.
