Question on incubating eggs after ordering through the mail

When you get fertile eggs in the mail, how long do you let them "settle" before putting them in the incubator?
 
Some ppl hold them for 24 hours. I have never done that before. You could search the topic.
 
I always leave them to settle for 24 hours, pointy end down, to let the embryo settle.
I leave them in an egg box by the side of the incubator to achieve room temperature,then pop them onto the incubator to heat up with it.
This usually works well,
