question on making jelly

Ok - not sure if this is the right site for my question.
I am new to canning and just made 2 batches of cider jelly.
I didn't bring the water level to 1 or 2 inches over the top of the jar.
It only came up to the metal ring. Should I re-do the waterbath to be sure they are sealed properly.
Right now they are cooling on my counter.

Yes, you should. What recipe are you using?

You can always treat it as freezer jelly if you don't want to try to reseal it.
