Question on salt?

Does anyone know if salt in water, added to bator can affect your hatches. I ve had teribble hatches and the is excessive amount of salt in our water softener tank. It is so bad that I stopped adding salt to the softener tank. I just set some eggs and will be using bottled water to add to bator. Is this nessacery?

salt does not evaporate but will slightly alter the rate at wich it evaporates. the very min amout your water softener adds most likley has almost no effect on humidity.
I have a large salt water aquarium and belive me full strength salt water evaporates jsut as quick as pure fresh water

Thank you for answering. I just thought I would ask after having to clean out my humidifier when it wouldn't work it was caked on it, had to use a screw driver to remove it. Thanks now I know its just me and I suck at incubating.
