I am hatching out pheasant eggs and they are having trouble after piping. I have kept the temps and humidity right all through the incubation. They have been turned at least three times daily, but they just arent making it. Out of 14 eggs that I started with, I really only have one good chick. Everything candled just fine at day ten and they progressed well from there. I moved them over to the brooder at day 22 and the piped that night. That is when they stopped progressing. After the first couple died in the shell I started trying to help them out two came out with a distended bowel and one was healthy. The last one that I help out after piping for 48 hours is the picture below. By helping out I meant that I just opened the hole a little more and he came the rest of the way out. He does not look good and I have a few more that are piping now. What would your suggestions be? All temps in the bactor and brooder are right on, I have two thermometers reading the same. I would appreciate any help. Thanks Oh one more thing can someone please tell me how to upload a pic....
