Question, Question, and yet Another Question! Please Read!!

Isn't it better to have an even number of males and females. Cause on chickens you need 1 rooster for every 8 - 10 hens.

No, the flock dynamic of Guineas is very different from chickens. One male and one female will become a pair during the breeding season. You will not see the same male breeding several different females.

The males might breed multiple females in that case or maybe not.

Its been several years since I've had more females than males. But one of my current flock leaders had himself a harem of two girls. The other flock leader had his one and showed no interest in the other females.
