Question with about coop

I have a 6x8x10 dog kennel I was wondering if it's too small for 6 hens and a rooster? new to this just wondering thanks

Yes thats would be fine. The recommended space are 4sq ft inside and 10 outside. Do you have a building for them to be in when the weather is bad? What kind of chickens are they?

I'm just in the starting stages working on housing now any suggestion? New Hampshire Reds for now

For a coop I would go with something along the lines of 4x8 or 8x8. Remember chicken math, your flock grows overnight. What is the weather like there?

It gets pretty humid here in MS, it got up in the 80's today
