QUESTION "Wood Ducks"

i have been told by someone that wood ducks r illegal to have in the state of florida..is that true..cause if not how can i get ahold of some wood ducks..i think they are some of the prettest ducks and i would love to have me some..what do i need to have to own these birds if i can have these birds.. please explain.

Check Local Game Laws or contact FG&F (Florida Game and Fish) to see the legalities of buying/owning/raising. Usually outlawed due to domestication issues, diseases, exotic/invasive species etc.
