I have 3 week old chicks...I have a fully enclosed coop/run...Its going to be 90 outside today...can i put them out there to allow some run around time and more space? Ill put their food and water out too

I can't let mine out in the run yet, but I have not had the heat lamp on my 3 wk chicks and poults for several days because it have been above 90 every day. The appear and act fine. Be sure they cannot get out of the run, and make sure they have shade also.

Go ahead and put them out there - they will love the sun and the space!

good morning. Search your run for any tiny hole or gap, THEY WILL FIND IT. I had a tiny gap under my door which they scratched at, squeezed under, then cried 'cause they couldn't figure out how to get back in. I have now sunk big rocks across the threshold.
Is there plenty of shade available?
Check them often.
