Questionable egg??

One of my hens layed and egg on May 7th which i cracked this morning. It appears to have an embryo attached. Is that possible since I only have 4 hens (no rooster). They have been laying since September and this is the 1st one I've seen like this.

No it is not an embryo and no it wouldn't be possible if you didn't have a rooster.
It's normal.

Thank you. I didn't think so but found it weird since I hadn't seen it before in my hens eggs.

That's the chalazae, all eggs have one or two.
