One of my hens layed and egg on May 7th which i cracked this morning. It appears to have an embryo attached. Is that possible since I only have 4 hens (no rooster). They have been laying since September and this is the 1st one I've seen like this.

Thank you. I didn't think so but found it weird since I hadn't seen it before in my hens eggs.No it is not an embryo and no it wouldn't be possible if you didn't have a rooster.
