Hello I have had my flock for quite some time now and havent had much success of the brody chickens / ducks eggs being able to hatch. Some were killed by the male ect. So now I am thinking about getting a 200$ incubator for fun but was wondering if it is worth it. I just want to do it for fun and have new chicks / ducklings around. I was wondering if I pay for a brinsea auto turn egg incubator how much of an effect do you think the electric bill will go up since its on 24.7 for a month? Sorry for my lack of knowledge hope someone can help me to decide if I should or shouldnt from experience. Thanks !

I saw someone break down the cost useing the watts and all that electrical talk that I basically read and it went in one ear and out the other and it amounted to a few cents a day. I don't see a difference big enough to notice in my electrical bill. Brinsea is a good bator. Hatching, (if done right) is so exciting and worth trying.
