Questions about Blue Andalusions

I have a question about my Andalusions. I have read a very few articles on this breed and they say that the cockerals start to crow at an early age. I have 4 and 3 of them are already crowing (if that's what you wanna call it right now...LOL)!!
My question is about the females.......if the boys crow early does that mean that the females will start laying early too??? And how do I know if the girls are getting ready to lay???

My andalusians were the first to lay, at almost exactly 5 months old. I never really saw signs they were about to lay, one day I just found an egg (I know it was an andalusian egg because they my only white egg laying breed).

Did you put your Andalusians on layer feed before or after they laid and if before at what age??
