Millet sounds fine to me, I sprinkle some flax seed on their food, sometimes rolled oats, mine like the occasional nosh of fresh comfrey leaves. They like lettuce especially floating in water, like thawed frozen peas (would like them fresh if I could get them year 'round, too, I guess).

Some people treat with mealworms and feeder fish, and crickets.

I used to get some feed that had cracked field peas in it. Cracked buckwheat might also be okay in small amounts.

Unless its negative 10 or lower out, skip the corn all together. It isn't good for them as its like candy and packs on empty pounds. Millet, oats, black oil sunflower, wheat all good as are the suggestions Amiga gave you.

I keep adding more whole grains and everyone loves it. We need seeds and grains for the ornamental ducks, so I keep trying new options and the domestics are enjoying the options.

Thanks for all the advice. My ducks don't really seem to like the corn, we were told that it was good to feed them but they pick it out. I do let them forage around my yard (under close supervision). Mine also do not like peas, they do love melons and lettuce. Any recommendations on where you can buy the millet or flax. I know pet shops sell it but is it safe for the ducks?

I buy millet and flax in the bulk section of my grocery store. It's a mom and pop store, you may not have one near you. But health food stores often have a bulk section that offers nuts, grains and such for less per pound because it is not packaged in fancy containers. There may be a food coop near you, too. Even the big box discount stores may carry these items.
