Questions about Layer feed.

My chickens just started laying and I bought them some laying crumbles at our local farm store. It is called triple trust layer crumble and I was just wondering if anyone has used this brand and if the recommend it or if I should switch. My local tractor supply carries Purina Layenna. Just wondering if I should buy it the next time or if what I am feeding is fine?

No need to switch if it has the nutrients required for laying hens.

Glad to have you. The local farm store is probably just as good. Next time you're shopping examine and see if it's got the same things in it. Or try Layenna and see which you like best. I'm not crazy about Purina but see if you think the extra price is worth it. Come see me on the fermenting feeds threads. I ferment my feeds and my birds are so healthy. It's easy too.

It is probably just fine.

Try switching foods every so often to see if there is a difference within your flock.
