Questions about raising peafowl

I'm thinking of getting some peafowl and I want to be able to make an informed decision about doing it. I am looking for some answers to the following questions:

1. Can they be raised with or near chickens? I have a flock of chickens and they free range about twice a week.

2. Can they free range all the time?

3. What sort of shelter/coop should I have for them?

4. If I decide to hatch them from eggs, can I set them under a broody silkie? (I'm only looking to raise a few)

5. How many should I have to keep them happy? Should I get a pair (male and female?) or does a peacock need a harem to keep him happy?

6. Have I lost my mind? I already have twenty seven chickens!

I appreciate any and all insight, if you have tips or information I'll gladly read it. I want to know all that I can before I jump into this.

I've always admired these birds and their haunting call is beautiful. I think they'd be a fabulous addition to my family, but I want to be 100% certain that my little family would be perfect for them.
