Questions about sexing silkies

I have 9 baby silkies I ordered. They are now 4 1/2 weeks old. My question is are they old enough to start being able to tell their gender? I ordered mostly pullets, with a few straight runs. I was just wondering if I could start to tell who's what yet. Can anyone give me some suggestions on what to look for? There is nothing pressing, I will not thin down the roos until they are fully mature. My husband and I just want to practice.

It would be best to wait. when they are almost full grown the roos neck feathers will be longer. you can't tell for sure about the fighting( roo fighting) some of my hen fight like that too. good luck
