questions about what my roo did this mornin

this mornin when i went out to the coop to set my chickens free my roo finally did what he has been working on for the whole week, he mounted my RIR hen and BOY she hated that!!! she turned around to attack him !!!!! well i already have the bator running for some diferent eggs but when will my hens eggs be fertile aftar that? and how long will 1 mount last?

It could take up to a week do to the fact an egg may have already formed within her.

Depending on his age, the eggs may or may not be fertile. He may or may not be fertile, additionally he may not have actually succeeded in mating even though you thought it appeared that he did. It takes some practice. I'd break a few eggs and examine them for fertility before wasting time with the incubator.
