Questions about where to buy the besst eggs

Who would be a great hatchery or even breeder to buy show quality eggs off of. I didn't know anything about chickens when I first got them but now I'm a little bit more in the know and would like to get into showing chickens but mine just don't have the looks. I ordered mine from randalburkley and didn't even think twice about it.

Hatcheries don't generally carry show-quality stock - you may get lucky, but I wouldn't count on it.

Look around for a member who talks about showing their birds and if they've done well, see if they sell hatching eggs.

Subscribe to the Poultry Press . If you are wanting show quality then I would buy adult birds and hatch from them. Just because chicks come from SQ parents does not mean they themselves will be SQ.
