questions bout hatching ducks n adjust the temp incubators

im trying to get in ducking hatching i have a question i hope you can help when i open my incubator to hand turn my duck eggs
the temperature drops is that normal?? also will the temp go back up when the lid is back on r do i have to adjust it? also in a few days if i take a flash light shine on the egg can i see if there is a duck starting to form.r do u suggest just turn them n thats all

That's normal for the temp to drop when the incubator is opened. Just leave it alone it should go back up. Depending on your incubator depends how long it takes. I candle at 10, 14, and 18 days once I hit day 20 I candle every day. But that's just because I like it lol

So if I candle my eggs at 8 days should I see like veins if the duck is forming?? I new at this so im learning a lit at a time

At 8 days you should see good veining.
