hi i have had many chickens hatch natuarly under their mothers and a fox came round last week and took some of my flock..i have hade an incubater for a while but never used it.now that my flock has ran low i pulled out and dusted off the incubater today. i have left it running to heat up and im just wondering......... what thempeture shoud it be running for the 21 day (i have the proper thermometer) and i was also wonder do i have to turn the eggs??? if anybody has incubated eggs befor and could answer these questions for me it would be greatly apreceated

Yes you have to turn the eggs 2 to 3 times per day if your incubator has a fan the temperature is 99,5 if not 100 to 101 over the top of the eggs
 
You should turn the eggs as many times as possible during the day, but make it should that it is an odd number so that they are sitting on a different side each night.
 
If you must hand turn, try at least 3-5 times a day. Keep temp at 99.5-100. And I usually keep the humidity pretty low so the eggs loose moisture and develop nice, big air cells by hatch time. But right before hatch is due, raise the humidity significantly by adding water (of course lol) and/or sponges.
