I have read that it is 1 drake to 4/5 females. If you have 2 females and 4 males that may be okay. You would just have to monitor them. I use Tractor Supply pine shavings for my ducks. They seem to like it more than hay.

It really isn't okay, 4 drakes to 2 females will get those females worked over really hard. 1 drake to 3 and up females is best.

when your drakes become breeding age around 4 months up would be a good time to start looking for new homes for extras. or get more females!

Yes, I would try to re-home 3 of the males if you can. That's too many males for those two poor girls.

Hay isn't really the best bedding for ducks. It doesn't soak up water and can mold quickly. Pine shavings are best in duck houses if you ask me, it's what I use. Much easier to clean up in the mornings, soaks up any spilled water, and also helps with odors.

Thanks for the help maybe I could find someone that would trade 3 males for females
