quick developing large lump in chest of my 2 yr old buff rock

Just noticed this a few minutes ago and we interact every day so it must have developed quickly. Large mass on left side of chest about the size of a grapefruit. Anyone seen anything like this?

How does it feel? Is is solid, firm, soft, or does it feel like air under the skin? Are you sure it is not the crop? Someone else had a rooster last year on here with a large tumor in the same area.

it feels quite firm like a ripe grapefruit maybe a little more squishy than that.

She is eating and drinking as normal with no change in her personality..

Ok I just read up a little more and yes it appears that it is her crop. I have never seen this on any of the ladies before and will check her in the morning to see if it has gone down. Otherwise I will try the oil and massage route

She may have a pendulous crop, which is due to the crop being stretched from over-eating, losing it's tone. Hopefully by morning, her crop will mostly have fone down.
