Quick help on size of run for 5 sussex hens

I am picking up 5 hens and need to make another run for them. I already have a barn that will be 6x8 and would like some help on the size of the run. They will not be free range birds.

I am thinking 12x6

If you could reply as soon as possible, I need to go get material tonight

sOunds good. That ll be 72 sq feet and they say 10 sq ft per chixken so more than enough.

Actually it will be 12x8. So a Lille more than before. Barn will actually be 8x8. I hope its ok.

It will be. As long as they have food water and shelter their good. Put some stumps and a tree limb in their run to play on. Your doing great.
