Its connected by chicken wire to the reg. coop for the big one's so they can see each other....they have there own tiny roosting area for night time. They are in heaven with so much room now.

Like I said this is temp....I can remove the entire running area by lifting it up and away from there tiny coop/roost area by just lifting it up and away

I dont know if they will ever get along!!!! I had them almost 3weeks in a large dog kennel inside the coop run next to the front door of the house, they all ate together and the others walked around them...I took them out a few days ago, and oh my they just about wanted to kill the little one;s....so back into the large kennel, and thats why I built this emergency MINI COOP until I can built them there very own coop that is nice.

I so much wanted to incorporate them and be living together, didnt work.

Hhmmmm...do you let them roam around together during the day?? I have twelve 10/11 week old pullets that run around with my hens and their roo during the day, of course, the girls go all around, but the pullets stay close to their coop. They have been free ranging for almost 4 weeks now with the big girls. Of course, at first, I was scared, say the first 3 days, but all in all, they all know their place now. Maybe you could let them free range together.

Maybe if they could have space together (is that a contradiction in terms?

) that may work...

No Free Range...cant do that, we have cats that are outside cats, and dogs which we keep fenced in, but our neighbor has pit bills that have killed 2 of our cats, 3 of the neighbors across the street...and have tried at first to get into our coop. The guy doenst keep them fenced in, they get out all the time.

Ive had it be where they have been in my yard, and my dogs which were in the house, bolted out of the front door and go after the dogs in our yard, thus having to break up a 5 dog fight, boxers, lab, pits, and chichihuahuas *sp* been a mess.

So we dont not let our chickens run lose...we have put the bantams loose in the big run, and the rest of them attacked them even after 3wks of all staying in the same run, but with the bantams in the large kennel for 3wks for get to know.

So sorry to hear that, the whole animal fiasco going on, too bad. That makes it incredibly hard, I imagine. Wow, I wish I could offer more advice....

Best of luck on that...I just don't know what to say...

My neighbors cats "used" to be a problem.. we've adjusted. And luckily, their German Shephard sweetheart could care less about all of the 2 legged "things" running around!! He only wants to pee on my Holly Bush! I wish you the best!!

Very cute. I only hope you don't have them in there very long. With the chicken wire, I would think pits would go right through that.

I would also worry about coons or other preditors going under as well without a skirt of wire to prevent diggers.

Best of luck and may they all be safe and sound.
