Quick question on air sac location

I have 1 egg that has the air sac on the side not on the large end of the egg. Why is that? What are the chances that the chick will be able to hatch out?

Not too bad--sometimes it just happens like that. I've had a chick pip from the small end and he made it out fine. Don't toss him!

I wasn't planning on tossing it...I'm curious to see if the little guy makes it out!

I have an egg like that too! I'm not sure if it's still developing or not (first time hatching my eggs...) but it's due on May 10th and the air cell seems to be getting larger.
