Quietest Pheasants - anyone know?

I think Reeves and Silvers are the most quiet. Silvers have a real high squeal/whistle that isn't too bad. Reeves just kind mutter to themselves "I want to kill you!" LOL..both fun birds though

So did you come up with a winning breed?I personally don't care what my neighbors think.I like having the different sounds of birds. It's not like their loud anyways. And it's not all year that they are vocal. But for a neat sounding bird,I think the cheer pheasant wins that category.

I had a pair of Cheers years ago, would love to have another pair. They were by far the most friendliest pheasant I ever raised, without much working with. their call is something else too, it kind of sounds like (to me anyways) like a chukar on steroids, very loud. Not very neighbor friendly as far as noise, but super fun to be around. They sure are hard to find nowadays.

Don't tempt me!! but I think my neighbors might have something to say on those....I'm already pushing it with what I have now. thank you anyways.

I have reeves, silvers, gamble quail, and Barbary partridges. the only ones my neighbors has said anything about is my Barbarys, which makes no sense? My Gambles call louder then the partridges......plus I have a few chickens. I think they were just complaining to complain. I'm zoned for anything I want, but I try to be a "decent" neighbor...and I think the Cheer would be pushing it..lol

I very rarely hear mine call as I leave for work at 5;00 am and don't get home until 4;30 pm.I had more complaints about my air mail mailbox then I do my pheasants.I think because the calls are so unique that people kinda enjoy the different calls.

Are there any meat pheasants that aren't too noisy? I have hear golden and silver are quiet but not much meat. I heard melanistic mutants and white pheasants aren't that noisy but was hoping to get more advice.
