Quilts for Christmas gifts

I just finished the top for my son's quilt he will get for Christmas. The plaids are all from DH's old shirts. I will emboider his name in the plain blue square. I still have one more top to make for the other little guy. Hopefully I get these both done in time.

That is a pretty cool idea using the shirts. I like that. If I was good at that stuff at all i would do the same. As is I am going to ask my sister if she could do something similar for our younger ones.

Thanks, I was really glad I came up with something to use these shirts for. He had lots of them he just didn't like any more. I started quilting it last night. I really hope they are both done in time for Christmas
