Quite terrified only one duck will hatch!

Started w 6. 1 wasn't Fertile.. 2nd one died first dew days and now day 25 another one has died. Checked last night. I knew something was wrong but could still see veins but they looked fuzzy..not as clearly defined. Worst still a perfect little duck foot shadow. This morning...foot still in same position. Veins fuzzier and infant not filling the egg as much as the others. I suppose it can't go in lock down w the other 3. ..right? I have to remove it? I would like to give it another day just in case I am wrong but it's lockdown time. Advice? My worst fear is that only 1 loan duckling will make it.

If it's questionable, it's not going to cause issues if it actually just died within a couple of days and it spends a few days in lockdown.

I would just mark it with a pencil and put it in with the rest.

Hoping you get at least one duckling! Guess I'd see about any poultry fairs or farm stores selling ducklings, or even chicks for that matter, so it has a friend, in case that happens.

Doing research, just in case re other little fowl in the area. Havent found any yet.
I did take the egg in question out after another night just before i had to lock down. The time difference here is substantial assuming you are in the US. It developed a big dark spot as well. It definitely had passed. I forced myself to investigate to confirm. Sad business.
