R-com mini incubator humidity change???

I have an R-com mini, you can change the temp but not the humidity it is pre programmed for each species it incubates. The problem is that it will not automatically change humidity for the last three days. I have read that placing the unit on a wet towel works but was wondering if anyone knew of a better way to increase the humidity for lockdown, any help is much appreciated I'm at day five of incubation so far

please check the hatching/incubation thread - do you have an accurate hygrometer to check the humidity ? don't rely on what comes with the incubator. Some people use 2 or 3.

Incubator doesnt have one and neither do i it is programmed to stay at about 55%, i will buy one now though if i can, couldnt find anything on that thread that relates to my kind of incubator.
