I meant he's a bird dog as in, a cocker lol

he's never been competed with, he's just a pet


my dad used to hunt squirrels with our cocker spanial we used to have when I was little LOL
 
I agree with the others that Lilly was protecting her babies.

Are you able to keep your dog(s) in a different area then the birds?

Seems like your dog will go for others if she likes fresh chicken now.
