Hi,
big_smile.png
I give the wild birds around my house bird seed when it is winter time. I used to have a bird feeder that hang on a tree, but it broke. So I have been putting the seed on some landscaping rocks. The bird seed is only sunflower seed. This is my first winter with geese. I have noticed that my geese are eating some of the sunflower seeds. Is this ok? I don't think it can hrut them, but I just want to be sure, that the sunflower seed is ok for them to eat?

Thanks to anyone that helps

They are extremely good for them and mine have them all the time mixed in with their feed. High in vitamin E . I always think its why I a have great fertility.

The geese at my lake love wild bird seed and plain sunflower seeds, too. I've never seen them get sick from eating them. They practically run up to me and beg for them.

Thanks so much, I didn't think they were bad for them, but I am such a worry wart
