Rabbit Behaviour?

Merry Christmas! Question -- My doe rabbit is gathering hay in her mouth. If other info is correct, could she be readying herself for a litter? If calculated correctly she is due soon to have her babies.

All advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, she may want the hay as a nesting material. If she is pulling out her fur, she's definitely getting ready.

The "haystache" is a classic nestmaking behavior - I've never seen a rabbit that wasn't in the late stages of pregnancy (or a false pregnancy) do it.
