I checked the internet but pretty much all i can find is pictures of those flemsy store-bought hutches. I want to get a couple more females to breed (for meat) so i will need to expand. I would Love (and appreciate!) to see pictures of your set ups/sheds/hutches/cages.

Thanks everyone...

here is my current hutch. The middle is just storage right now since i dont have a 3rd meat bunny yet.

It's made from scrap wood so it's not perfect but i thoguht it turned out pretty nice. I still have to finish the roof.

I got a huge bag of Cedar shavings from a friend but read that theyre bad for rabbits(im assuming the aromatics) so they just got dumped on the ground. they should compost fairly quickly since they're pretty fine and raw.

Mine are hanging wire cages in a shed (single row, I don't stack). I'm just putting up a new doe cage though, 6fx3f with a separator, and it's still on the floor at the moment. If I get a chance, I'll try to get some pics either tomorrow or early next week. Too much Easter stuff going on this weekend.

here is the ones I built from left to right: 1st section is 3'x2' ans was built to hold only the babies after weaning, the second section is 2'x4' and was built for the bucks(gave these to a girl at Church when I got out of the rabbit business last fall) and the 3rd section 10'x2'x17"in front and 15" in back and was built for the does or 2 rabbits and 23 quail at the moment

This picture was taken with our game camera because I was having trouble with predators. [That's the neighbors dog

] But, off to the left, you can see the double row of hanging wire cages that I keep my rabbits in. I have a total of 16 all-wire cages with drop feeders suspended in 2 long rows under that overhang on the barn. The chickens are kept inside the barn with a fenced run attached.

So far I haven't been able to find any cages like that around here. I would just build a shed for them if i could, seems a lot easier to clean.

I use individual moveable homemade hutches that are 2 x 2.5 and I have a four cage setup on a stand also. Here's my hutches. I don't have picks of the one on the stand yet...and wasp are swarmin...so you'll have to wait

I have made about 6 of these. Sorry the pic stinks....shiney wire is difficult to photograph.
