Rabbit playpen bottom mat?

What can I line the bottom of an indoor playpen for my rabbit? The playpen is 2ft wide by 6ft long. Can I use large beach towels? And are they machine washable with regular detergent if my bunny pees on it?

I put down tarp and then give them several low plastic bins filled with bedding for them to use as their bathroom.

Yes, a towel will work and regular detergent should be fine. Old rugs or mats can work well too. Just be sure they can't snag their nails on it.
