rabbit question

Rabbits can breed pretty early .. 3 months even. I don't like to breed mine until 5 or 6 months.

If she's with a buck and you don't want her bred, seperate them.

Google "rabbit breeding" .. lots of info out there..

Good luck!

Rabbits can get pregnant as early as 4 weeks old. It isn't good for them by any means, but it is possible. Don't breed until she is 6 months old, she will be full grown by then and able to handle having babies.

What part of the country are you in? I raise English Spot mixes along with New Zealand Whites and Rex. I've finally got a batch that is the color I want (of the mixes), so I'm going to be holding quite a few back this time through.

i dont want kittens at all so i guess my hubby better start putting together the hutches huh! i thought they would need to be a few mths before they could breed but my buck was trying real hard the other day and they are 7 weeks.

Count out four weeks and put a nest box in the girls cage, just in case. Give her plenty of hay or straw to build with as well. The least she will do is ignore it, the most, you could be having some kits in a few weeks.

I breed mine at three months or later. I have had a few get pregnant earlier if I don't get them out of the colony soon enough. It's better to wait until they are at least three or four months old. They just make better mommies that way.
