My son has meat intolerances to pork and beef. I was thinking of raising rabbits for another source of protein for him. I was wondering if anyone has or knows of anyone with meat intolerances that can eat rabbits.

I don't know much about meat intolerances but I think its a honorable idea. Rabbit does have a lot of protein in it from what I've heard.
Hope someone can give you a better answer.

Seems like with any "allergy" type medical condition you would just have to try and see how he reacts.

The intolerance might actually come from the feed or growth hormones the animal is eating. So if you raise them & feed then all natural then there is a good chance it would be OK. If you by hay from a local farmer make sure he isn't Fertilizing his crop.
