I am so sorry for your loss. What a pretty girl! I just had mine attacked also I give her doxycycline, it's a powder form that I mix with cheese that you can get at a pet store or obviously online. It's a great antibiotic if you want to try it. It's actually called fish doxy, but its the same as we take just powder form

I believe doxycycline is an antibiotic and shouldn’t be used unless there is a known infection. Overuse of antibiotics can cause antibiotic resistance which makes infections really difficult to treat in the long run.
