Raccoon attack

Unfortunately I had a problem with a raccoon towards the end of last week. My flock is now smaller than it was before. Two of the survivors have visible cuts on their head/neck area. They aren't bad but some feathers are missing. The hens are acting fine and eating like they should. Are chickens susceptible to rabies? Is this something that I should be concerned about?

I dont believe that chickens get rabies, however, you yourself can contract it by coming in contact with saliva the raccoon left in the wounds.
