racoon in coop, killed 3 of my chickens. 1 possibly ran away

hi everyone, yesterday morning I came out to let my chickens out to a horrible scene. 2 dead 2 missing. feathers of the 2 dead and 1 missing bird are everywhere, however no feathers from the 2nd missing bird. Im hoping it has just ran away and will come back but i am growing increasingly concerned. She is a very sensitive chick that will isolate and barely eat for a couple days if we have a decent t-storm. Hoe long can it take for them to wander back home? when should i loose hope? thank you

I am so sorry you're going through this. So sad I have no advice for looking for your sweet girl but I hope you find her!
Can you post a photo of your coop/run so other folks can help with any suggestions for this to never happen again <3

No photos on me but it got in through their door, bedding had piled up under it and the racoons was able to get in. I added a lock to the door so it should be good now
