Rain Barrel how to make your own

Not looking forward to hauling water to the coop this winter and was thinking about getting a rain barrel located by the coop. Found a rain barrel you can make yourself online today and am considering it myself.

Just buy a 55 gallon drum off of craigslist. walla, instant rain barrel

Home depot sells a rain collector that is made to go under your gutter like that. (they were 50 bucks) FYI. Don't know if it's a seasonal item or not, but they for sure had them this summer. Also, depending on your space, I use a stock tank.

Love the trash can idea though. But if you need it to look "appealing" Home depot has that one that looks cool.
